Responsibilities

The Sales Analyst plays a critical role within the Sales Organization at Perfect Timing, Inc. with primary responsibilities for providing product performance analysis and reporting.
Use analytical skills to generate detailed quantitative sales reports by client, by program, and channel of distribution.

  • Download, Extract, compile and analyze sales information to assist in sales revenue, sell-thru, and product inventory projections.
    1. Region, chain, and/or store level evaluation, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities.
    2. Sku level evaluation and analytics
  • Development and delivery of recommendation in terms of sku assortment, plan-o-grams, product placement, and sell-through.
  • Model and generate Sales Forecast based on client historical sales / POS reports.
  • Maintain, analyze, and trend POS / Sell Thru Reports.
  • Understand and engage in Margin Analysis
  • Supports ad hoc requests from many areas of the organization including: Finance, Inventory Planning, Product Development, Marketing, and Sales
  • Managing client inventory levels, replenishment requirements, scripting of orders, and monitoring sell through. Lead contact and owner of the client performance data.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly meetings and calls with Sales Managers and VPs to address/review sales, trending, and recommendations
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education and/or Experience:
    • College Degree Required. Preferably in Business, Marketing, Mathematics or Communications.
    • At least 3 years of relevant experience in statistical analysis.
    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Access experience is a plus.
    • Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, and Outlook).
    • Must maintain strong leadership, management and interpersonal communication skills.
    • You must take initiative, be multi–task oriented, and function well as a member of the team.
    • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Language Skills:
    • Ability to read, write, interpret documentation
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Clear verbal communication
    • Fluent English
  • Mathematical Skills:
    • College level mathematics and statistics.
    • Analytical problem solver with skills at driving solutions and strategic thinker
    • Reasoning Ability:
    • Ability to solve practical problems
    • Ability to analyze statistical data and develop relevant mathematical models
    • Can accurately follow written procedures
